I now have in my hot little hands one Peet Bros Ultimeter 2100 weather station, as yet not installed.
Also picked up an OpenTracker + from VK6FUN which is now assembled and tested on an IC-208H transceiver. Now all I need is the GPS modules that AustPost lost and a cheapie 2m radio (like an old commercial VHF)

Not a blogger
I'm not a blogger. Just trying this thing out as a place to swap information (etc) related to radio.
While you're here, check out WARSUG the busiest scanner user group in Australia.
My interests currently lie in the following areas:
APRS: Working on it. I got suckered by somebody I bought two Garmin GPSs from that never got to me. Looking at OpenTracker. Have a Peet Bros Ultimeter 2100 coming. Using PC software from a scanner through the soundcard for monitoring
PSK31: Working on it. Receive only until I can finish building an interface.
DX: If I can get a decent horizontal antenna or two up. Way too much noise on the vertical. Something is causing a lot of QRM on 30 to 10m as well.
Any other form of digital radio. It's all good.
Looking for a couple of old working 2M FM-92s or similar if you know where I can get.
